About Tucker
With an incredibly independent spirit, Tucker arrived in Cleveland, Ohio in February of 2007. Estimated to be between 10-12 years of age and struggling with yet undiagnosed neurological and digestive diseases, this weak and wobbly German Shepherd weighed in at an emaciated 49 pounds, truly a starving artist.
Tucker was soon diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy, a condition similar to multiple sclerosis in humans. Due to this condition, Tucker cannot lift his legs in the usual manner in order to pee. Rather, he walks and waggles his way down the sidewalk, leaving these elaborate streams in his wake. The camera captured these compositions as they spontaneously occurred in the natural course of his daily strolls through his neighborhood.
